With more than 3,200 wines tasted from around the world, the LA Wine Competition has concluded. We are proud to say OC Custom Wine recieved 5 more medals to our growing list of accolades! This competition brought us:

The OC Wine Competition results just arrived and OC Custom Wine received 5 more medals! The same number as last year from this competition; however, totally different wines. This year we entered seven wines in three competitions that all had international entries and at least 2,500 wines entered. Although we received only one gold, which was disappointing as we felt all our wines entered were gold worthy, we realize that competition of these sizes, it becomes very subjective. We are very proud however, that all the wines entered this year won a medal; with several winning multiple awards. In all, the 13 medals show the consistent practices of our winery produces high quality, award winning wines which is the base for you to blend your own “AWARD” worthy wine!

Eureka, we struck GOLD!!  With all the success we’ve had the last several years winning medals in every competition that we’ve entered, that prized gold medal had eluded us, until now. Our first Gold Medal just got announced from the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition in NY. With over 3,000 entries we are very proud that they found our 07 Napa Valley Cab Franc to be worthy of a Gold. This is the very same Cab Franc that you can taste right now out of our tasting barrels, so come on in and add a bit of Gold to your next blend!
